Maurizio (Maui) Balistreri was originally from Milwaukee, WI and has lived in Tucson since 1983. After receiving his Bachelor's degree in Business Management / Accounting from the University of Arizona, he worked as an auditor for a public accounting firm. He became the firm's subject matter expert on Single Audits, requiring certain non-profit organizations, like PSI, to undergo annual audits of both the financial statements and compliance with Federal award requirements. Leveraging the knowledge gained in public accounting, he decided to expand his experience in industry as the Corporate Controller for a group of commonly owned companies in the healthcare industry before joining PSI in 2012.
