
Eric Palmer

Dr. Palmer received his BS in Computer Science from Purdue University in 1990 from which he also received an MA in Political Science in 1991. He received an MS in Space Studies from the University of North Dakota in 2000. From 1991 to 2004, Dr. Palmer served in the United States Air Force as an Intelligence Officer and then a Military Pilot. He received his PhD in Planetary Science from the University of Arizona in 2009. He joined PSI in 2010 as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to work on the NASA Dawn mission, and joined its permanent science staff in 2013. Dr. Palmer is the Manager of the Asteroid and Dust Subnote of the NASA Planetary Data System.
