Oded Aharonson

Dr. Aharonson received his Bachelors’ and Masters’ degrees in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University, served in the Israeli Air Force, and after earning a PhD from MIT (2002). He was a Professor of Geological and Planetary Science at the California Institute of Technology before joining PSI in 2014. He now resides in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he also holds an appointment at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Aharoson has been an Editor for Icarus and The Mars Journal and an Associate Editor for Geophysical Research Letters.
