Project Description
The project is performed remotely and on-site at Los Alamos National Laboratory, under the direction and supervision of Dr. Sam Clegg at LANL. The SuperCam PI is Dr. Roger Wiens at Purdue University. This project is closely related to the Mars Science Laboratory ChemCam project (1681).
Tasks are:
- Check the state of health of the SuperCam instrument based on data as it is transmitted to Earth.
- Support the team in uplink of commands to the rover to operate SuperCam.
These roles will be carried out on a rotating basis with other team members.
