More than 150 kids and adults enjoyed learning about asteroids, comets and meteorites at PSI’s display at a recent Science Sundays event at Children’s Museum Tucson.

PSI’s participation in Science Sundays is funded by a NASA Science mission directorate ROSES outreach supplement grant.

Above, from left in hat, PSI Docent David Acklam, Senior Scientist Beatrice Mueller, Executive Assistant Victoria Klocko and Docent Al Anzaldua educated and entertained people attending the event with a variety of hands-on activities.

Below, PSI Senior Scientist Stephen J. Kortenkamp and Klocko put the finishing touches on a model of a comet nucleus made of dry ice, water, organic material and other ingredients.
