PSI was again active in supporting the Southern Arizona Regional Science and Engineering Fair. Mark Sykes, Don Davis, Larry Lebofsky, David Anklam, Thea Cañizo and Bea Mueller served as judges at the annual event that honors top young scientists in kindergarten to 12th grade from Southern Arizona. The 2013 event attracted 1,792 student projects for judging, up from 1,600 last year, said Kathleen Bethel, SARSEF’s director.
