PSI Senior Scientist Elisabeth Adams celebrated Pi Day – March 14 – by baking some delicious π-themed treats.
“We are really leaning into this best-of-all holidays. We got some chocolate roll-cookies to make in the shape of the letter pi, for delivery to friends, and then there is also apple and lemon meringue pie,” Adams said.
Elisabeth even wore a pi-adorned dress to mark the occasion.
Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π. Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π, 3.14159265359….
The pies and cookies disappeared quickly, she said.
