Frank Chuang received his MS in Geology from Arizona State University in 2000 and joined PSI in 2003 as a member of its science support staff. In addition to participating in NASA-funded research projects with various PSI staff members, he maintains PSI's collection of networked scientific software licenses and most of the institute's field equipment. Frank also maintains PSI's "Explorer's Guide to Impact Craters" and educational resources on the institute's website.
His professional activities include external reviewer for NASA research and data analysis programs, peer-reviewer for major scientific research journals, and chapter reviewer for various popular and professional science books. He has also participated as a member of the science team for HiRISE, a camera onboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft.
