• Co-Investigator on HiRISE camera on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter
• Investigations of coatings on Mars and Earth (MFRP)

I am currently working as a visiting scientist at NASA Headquarters. I am the Mars Exploration Rover Program Scientist and the Mars Express Program Scientist. My main responsibilities as the Program Scientist for these two missions has included defining the science objectives, adding U.S. scientists to current instrument teams, selecting landing sites for the rovers, and overseeing the science being accomplished on these missions now that they are both operating successfully at Mars. In addition to my responsibilities at NASA, I also perform research on Valles Marineris geology.
