Rose is part of the NASA Planetary Data System's Small Bodies Node and currently works on three projects. The first project is the On-Line Archiving Facility (OLAF) which is a website that aids astronomers in submitting their data to the Planetary Data System (PDS). The second project is the FITS Normalizer which is a tool that will allow astronomers to clean up their FITS images in preparation for archiving in the PDS. The third project is the Small Bodies Data Ferret, a successor to the old Steward Observatory Asteroid Relational Database (SOARD). The Data Ferret is currently in "beta testing" and will allow users to make complicated queries of the PDS Asteroid Data Archive.

Rose graduated from the University of Arizona in May 2003 with a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science.
