MRO's High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE)

MRO will launch in August 2005 and begin systematic mapping in the fall of 2006. HiRISE will provide images at scales of 25-32 cm/pixel, including stereo and color coverage. The instrument and operations will be described, followed by a discussion of key science issues that HiRISE will address.
