MOPS: The Pan-STARRS/LSST Moving Object Processing System

The Moving Object Processing System (MOPS) is the Pan-STARRS/LSST pipeline system dedicated to discovering asteroids and comets in detection catalogs. MOPS is a fully automated system using state of the art algorithms and software components to determine orbital parameters of Solar System objects.

The talk describes the general architecture of MOPS, its current status and touches on initial results.
