The 2007 annual PSI retreat will be held this year at Westward Look Resort, 245 East Ina Road, Tucson, AZ.

Last year's retreat had over 43 PSI scientists and staff in attendance. We encourage you to participate in this year's event! Take the opportunity to meet our new scientists, interact with current staff and board members, brainstorm ideas for collaborative projects, and discuss future directions for the Institute. All people affiliated with PSI are invited to attend the science presentations, group discussions and banquet. Friends of PSI are invited to the science presentations and banquet. Children, friends and family are welcome to attend the banquet (for reservations, contact Chris Holmberg at 520-622-6300 or chris@psi.edu).

About Tucson: The city of Tucson, with a population of nearly 500,000, is located in the heart of the Sonoran desert, an arid region covering 120,000 square miles from the southeastern California deserts to southwestern Arizona, and parts of Baja California and the Mexican state of Sonora. Temperatures during the summer can reach well over 100° F with very low humidities (< 15%). However, by July, the monsoon season is already underway and mid-to-late afternoon thunderstorms are a normal occurrence. Given the heat, it is recommended that you have water handy.
