PSI Active at 2017 Tucson Festival of Books

PSI’s display at the Tucson Festival of Books attracted an estimated 1,000 visitors during the two-day event held on the University of Arizona Mall. PSI’s exhibit, held in the event’s Science City area, included hands-on activities with space rock and meteorite samples and a scale model of the newly discovered planetary system TRAPPIST-1.
Larry Lebofsky schedule PSI volunteers for the event, and participants included Bea Mueller, Thea Cañizo, Rob Bovill, Emily Joseph, Maya Bakerman, Sanlyn Buxner and Joe Spitale. Nancy Lebofsky helped set up and tear down PSI’s display both days.
