PSI and the RCT Consortium are reconfiguring the 1.3-m telescope on Kitt
Peak for automated remote operation. The telescope, now known as the
Robotically Controlled Telescope (RCT) will be used
for projects including the search for extra-solar planets, the study
of active galactic nuclei, starburst galaxies, and follow-up optical
observations of gamma-ray bursts.
