- About PSI
Dr. Eldar Noe Dobrea's primary research interest focuses on understanding the present and past state of water on Mars, and its influence on the geological history of the planet. He is particularly interested in the identification of sites where liquid water could have existed in the form of standing bodies of water or as aquifers and their potential for the development of life.
Dr. Noe Dobrea received his PhD in 2004 from Cornell University where he engaged in a spectroscopic search for hydrous alteration products on Mars in the near- and mid-infrared. Prior to joining PSI in 2006, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Malin Space Science Systems.
