Colorado Road Trip

June, 2005 Lots of pictures from a great trip; a hard and tiring trip but great one too. Making slow progress north.Kiera learns to look around while Corey stops for another feed.Silverton is an old mining town nestled into the San JuanMountains. at 9000 ft. A popularattraction in the area in the narrow-guage railway that stilloperates from Durango to Silverton. We did get out camping in the mountains for one night. This was my birthday present. This was the hill I saw to climb. A view on the way up the hill.Evidence that there is canyon potential in Colorado as well as themountains. Ouray andcanyon? A deep, narrow spectacular section in Gunnison Gorge. Kiera still enjoys the carrier. Good to see Corey enjoys going for awalk as well.Kiera exploring yet another train. The little lad is still holding up well.Colordao Mountains This is Great Sand Dune National Park.Running between the sand dunes and the mountains is this creek.Kiera really enjoyed playing in the creek. Relucantly, we had to drag Kiera out of the water before theend of the day. So good to see the kids enjoyingthemselves as well.Took a thousand pictures over the trip and this is the only onewith all of us in it.
