Exposure time: 3 images over 2 1/2 hours

Telescope: Twenty-inch Sloan Photometric monitor at Apache Point

Description of Object:

Don't Blink!!! Near Earth Object 2004 RY10, newly discovered by Gil Esquerdo (PSI) and John Barentine (APO), races across this observation field.  Shooting from  the upper left to lower right, 2004 RY10 appears streaked due to its relatively faster motion.

Mainbelt asteroid 2004 RM11 was also caught (near center) in this image set.

See Orbit path for 2004 RY10 from the Near Earth Object Program.
