HiRISE Science Team -- Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter:

Research and assistance with image targeting for HiRISE Co-Investigator Dr. Cathy Weitz

Research Interests:

• Landslides in various Martian terrains
• Martian lobate debris aprons - Eastern Hellas, Tempe Terra/Mareotis Fossae, and Deuteronilus Mensae
• Formation and modification of Martian slope streaks
• Intracrater layered deposits in Arabia Terra, Mars

Software Specialist tasks:

Assist staff in the use of GIS and image processing software (e.g., ArcGIS, ENVI, IDL, ISIS, and VICAR).

Planetary Geosciences Laboratory:

Maintain lab collection of NASA CD-ROMs, USGS topographic, geologic and shaded relief maps, and hardcopy prints of Viking and Lunar Orbiter photos. Maintain and update computer software on lab workstations.
