HiRISE Science Team -- Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter:

Assist HiRISE Co-Investigator Dr. Cathy Weitz with image targeting operations

Research Interests:

  • Mass wasting and degradation of Martian highland terrains
  • Martian lobate debris aprons - Eastern Hellas, Tempe Terra/Mareotis Fossae, and Deuteronilus Mensae regions
  • Modeling of Martian ice-rich flow features using laboratory-derived rheologic properties of ice

    Software Specialist tasks:

    Assist staff in the use of GIS and image processing software (e.g., ArcGIS, ENVI, IDL, ISIS, and VICAR).

    Planetary Geosciences Lab Manager:

    Maintain lab collection of NASA CD-ROMs, USGS topographic, geologic and shaded relief maps, and hardcopy prints of Viking and Lunar Orbiter photos. Maintain and update computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
